UPDATES, March 2008

Nancy Krim, WG06,07:
I'm headed down to Mississippi March 7-8 for the opening of an art exhibit that I have had a hand in. Check it out at www.backyardsandbeyond.com. The artist is a friend, and I donated 100 hours transcribing tapes of interviews with Katrina survivors, then selecting and arranging their stories into a narrative that will accompany the paintings. Its been a labor of love

from 2000 and 2001 first Gatherings in Pownal, Maine.

"I learned so much, not only about the workshop topics presented, but also from the artists there who share an artistic integrity that is very inspiring in this day and age. Ultimately, your organizing efforts offered an opportunity for me to learn a lot about myself and for that I can never thank you enough. " - Hortense Gerardo, Boston, MA
